1Password8: Reveal with Option-key not working?

Just switched to 1Password8 - did they drop that feature?

Extension Version: 2.3.3
OS Version: 12.3.1

    I thought so too at first but they did actually keep it though it needs to be activated manually in settings at the bottom of the "security" tab.

    Yes, correct. Also, if you would rather use something else, as folks who present their screen like to do, you'll find Command + r will also show your items. It's a toggle and does not need to be held down. You would need to press it again to hide your secrets. If you happen to like shortcuts, many others can be found using the shortcut viewer command + /
