Feature Request - Quick password creation (not linked to an existing record)

Would be nice if there was a quick way to access the password generator alone without having to create a new entry... just do the password part to be cut/pasted somewhere (like in a secure note)

    Hi,

    Another vote for this feature.... not least because generate a new password used to be available from the icon in the top menu bar (quick access on a mac)... and is no longer there. Its not been improved in the latest version I'm afraid... quite a step back.

    +1 on that. we loved LastPass which offers this feature even on their website, but had to move away because their app became unusable. 1PW v7 was the best alternative until now v8 ruined everything.
