Amazon login not recognized by 1PW

I use the Parcel app to track packages and the app provides an integration with Amazon to track Amazon shipments. When you add an Amazon account a window is opened that brings up a login page with Amazon and this login page is not recognized by 1PW so I must copy and paste login credentials from the app to the window (like a cave man).

I had heard that 1PW 8 would be better at recognizing these situations. Assuming I am correct, is there something I should have done differently or are there data I can provide to help 1PW mitigate this in the future?

Obviously not the end of the world by a long shot.

  • Hello @gct3o! 👋

It sounds like our new Universal Autofill feature would be perfect for this scenario! Universal Autofill allows you to fill your login information into any app on your Mac, even if that app isn't a browser.

You can read more about Universal Autofill here: Use Universal Autofill in apps and browsers on your Mac

To use Universal Autofill you'll need to update to 1Password 8 for Mac if you haven't already: https://1password.com/downloads/mac/

    I hope that helps. 😊

I do have 1PW 8 installed. I thought I had completed the setup required for Security & Privacy settings but turns out the Accessibility settings were not enabled. Obviously the 1PW app can’t determine if I have properly adjusted these settings. Not sure how I missed configuring them.
Hopefully this gets things working properly.
