3 years ago1Password 8 keeps stealing focus on Mac
Ever since 1Password 8 came out of beta, every update causes the app to start randomly stealing focus. For example, if I'm working one window and then click into Chrome, 1Password will pop up on top. It's very disruptive and distracting. Quitting the app does not fix it, as I will still see 1Password stealing focus, there is just no window. It seems to usually be fixed by Force Quitting 1Password, but the next time it updates it starts happening again.
I also noticed that even though I changed 1Password to use the Production update channel several updates ago, it still says I'm on BETA (80800094).

I thought I had it fixed but 8.10.9 keeps popping and coming to front focus at random times, often multiple times per minute. Makes working, and especially typing impossible. This is with Safari 16.6 (extension 2.14.1) and Firefox 116.0.3 (extension 2.13.0). I may have to delete 1Password extensions from all my browsers in order to get anything done. MacOS 13.5 (M1) so everything is up to date and it still keeps occurring.

1Password now jumps to front of screen on my Mac at all times. Really annoying. Think started happening after latest update to operating system on my Mac. Ventura 13.4 Any suggestions ? Thanks

@danshier - further to that, I didn't have any further updates to make on 1Password, but I did run an update to macOS Monterey from 12.6.5 to 12.6.6 and... for whatever reason, that may have solved the issue. So far no issues... 🤞
