Sidekick browser considered "untrusted"

Hello,
I've been using the Sidekick browser (chromium-based) for a few days and noticed the 1password extension wouldn't open the windows app. In the windows app, there's a message :

"1password refused connection from untrusted app: sidekick by Push Play Labs Inc"

I read on some threads here this might be an issue with the browser's certification keys or something. Is it something that could be fixed by the 1password team or does it have to go through sidekick programmers ?
