Trying 1Password 8

I've been using 1Password since version 4, at least that's the earliest license I have in my 1Password vault. Over the years, there have been a few hiccups, but for the most part, can't complain, its been a good ride.

When V8 was announced and the beta program started, I began watching this forum a lot more closely than I had been. And over that beta time stretch and into the V8 launch, I was becoming increasingly concerned. I depended on 1Password every time I was on any of my Apple products, iPhone, iMac, MacBook Pro, etc. Spending an hour or so each day here, reading of issue after issue, missing features, etc. is not good for one's mental health. I actually tried out a couple of other password managers. Nothing really fit like 1Password 7.

Late yesterday afternoon, I finally took the plunge and installed V8 on the M1 MacBook Pro, and played with it well into the night. My overall impression? For the most part, I couldn't be more pleased. Works as well as V7 (a bit more "colorful", but that's fine), seems to work well with the logins I use most, and the comfort of working with something that one's already familiar with, is reassuring. I'm sure as I work with V8 longer I'll find something to question here on these forums, but like I said, for the most part, I'm good. Thank you to the "team."
