How long with version 7 receive security updates?

I need to know how long will version 7 for macOS receive security updates? Also will the corresponding iOS version that syncs to iCloud receive security updates for the same period of time?

Is there an official position that can be stated by 1Password? Thanks.

    With the launch of 1Password 8 for Mac, 1Password 7 for Mac is no longer supported and will only receive important security updates. It's essential to stay up-to-date for every app, and that's especially true for a security app like 1Password.

    Regarding 1Password 7 for iOS: I don't have anything to share on that at this point, as 1Password 8 for iOS is still in Early Access, but we'll be sure to share appropriate details about support here in the forums when the time comes.

    Have you tried 1Password 8 for Mac yet, by any chance? We'd be happy to have your impressions and any feedback you'd like to offer!
