The extension doesn't work anymore in Firefox 102 (Nightly). Clicking the 1Password toolbar button does not open the panel.

According to the tweet here the issue is related to CSP:

Here is the error I see when I inspect background.html of the extension:

Content Security Policy: The page’s settings blocked the loading of a resource at wasm-eval (“script-src”). moz-extension:1:10231
Uncaught (in promise) CompileError: call to WebAssembly.instantiateStreaming() blocked by CSP

1Password Version: 8.7.0
Extension Version: 2.3.3
OS Version: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS

  • Hi @pbz, thanks for the heads up here! We're aware of this one and are working on a fix. I don't have a timeline to share there yet but hope that we'll be able to get it out soon.

Firefox Nightly is inherently unstable to an extent (it's where changes get tested) but we definitely want to keep things working to the best of our ability, so this is still something we're keen to fix.

I replied on the tweet also just to make sure the loop was closed!

Thanks! Glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue and that the 1P team is on it.
