Any reason why iOS generates 30 character pwd vs. MAS 50 character length?

I'm just curious why I can only seem to generate 30 character long passwords on my iPhone and iPad versus 50 on the Mac Desktop version.

    A randomly generated 23-character, case-sensitive, Latin alphabet password already has 128-bits of entropy. (That doesn't include symbols.) 30 just fit in the UI better. :)
