Windows Hello in order to use?

I'm having trouble getting the SSH Agent working in the software. From what I can tell, the only requirement I am missing is the setup of Windows Hello, which I am not able to do on my domain workspace. Why is this a requirement?

When I go to Settings -> Developer->1Password SSH Agent, the option to check "Use the SSH Agent" is not clickable, it is disabled.

I was able to get Microsoft OpenSSH working, so the only thing I can think of that could be disabling this is the Windows Hello requirement. I don't have a problem typing in my password to unlock 1Password, so I am not sure why this needs to be a requirement.

  • @tomstock Currently, enabling Windows Hello is indeed a requirement for using the SSH Agent on Windows. We are, however, looking into removing this restriction in the future.

  • Update: We have recently removed the Windows Hello requirement.
