4 years agoHaving an issue integrating Windows app with Chrome extension
I recently clean installed Windows 11 (build 22621).
When I installed the 1password app (version 8.7.1) and the extension (version 2.3.5) on chrome - they didn't seamlessly integrate like they usually do.
I tried a couple of methods to get them to integrate:
* Restarting Windows
* Disabling and reenabling browser/app integration options
* Reinstalling both the desktop app and the extension
None of these methods seem to work at all.
I proceeded to check the logs.
This is what's being logged when the two are trying to integrate:
Can I get any help on this?
1Password Version: 8.7.1
Extension Version: 2.3.5
OS Version: Windows 11 build 22621

1Password Team
Hi all, and thanks @DeanEncoded for sharing those details here with everyone.
As noted, the best workaround is temporarily disabling app integration:
1. Open your browser, right-click the 1Password icon in the address bar, and choose Settings.
2. Scroll to the General heading, and then disable Integrate with 1Password app. Thanks for your patience while the team works to resolve this as quickly as possible!

For anyone curious, this signing issue would be affecting all browsers. I am using Firefox and having the same problem as the others in this thread. At least they're aware of an issue. I hate having to enter my password every time I close and open my browser. The integration was the best change they ever made IMO.

I got an email stating that 1password is having issues with signing certificates.
Here is the email:
Guess we just have to wait until they fix the issue.

Same here, I run Windows 10 Professionnel - Version 10.0.19044 Build 19044
I've same versions and the link between app and extension doesn't work. I've never had this problem before.
