Beta #22 of 2022 is now available πŸŽ‰

Hey folks!

Today we published 8.8.0-143, our twenty-second beta of 2022.

For those of you using the SSH agent feature, we've made some improvements there when authorizing, preventing a large number of SSH authorization prompts from showing up at once.

Search now treats + and & as word boundaries, allowing for searching of plus-addresses, like so:

We've fixed an issue that could cause certain items with weak passwords that were marked as ignored by Watchtower to not be removed from the ignored list after the weak password was changed to a stronger one.

Additionally, this release for Windows (as well as production release 8.7.2-2) was signed using our new code signing certificate.

You can find a full set of changes in our release notes for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Or, select the What’s New item from the feedback menu within the app.

As always, thank you so much for participating in the early access release and helping us to improve 1Password. We couldn't have gotten this far without you and the releases are so much better as a direct result of you. Thank you! πŸ™πŸ»πŸ€—

Wow, an update for search... I was excited for a fraction of a second until I read that it just adds two new characters for your arbitrary word splitting. What about finally bringing back 1PW7's search algorithm and it's superior UI? Or at least give the users who rely on a working search on option to replace the totally broken 1PW8 search by its find command?
