Cannot update credit card
Signed onto ip.com. Went to billing and selected edit credit card. However, I could only change the expiration date, not the cover code or anything else.
What am I missing?

If the number has changed then it is effectively a new card and would need to be added as such:
Once the new card has been added you can remove the old one. 😃 I hope that helps!

The number is the same, just the expiration date and cvv changed. Is it then considered a new card?

The only field that is editable on an existing card is the expiration date. As such, for any other changes, it appears entering it as a new card would be the only path forward.
