We've started using 1Password for secrets where I work and we also use TablePlus as a macOS database gui.

We deal with a lot of different databases and it would be really handy if 1Password could provide an "Open in TablePlus" button for Database items.

TablePlus registers itself on macOS so that if you do something like this in a Terminal:

open 'postgresql://username:password@host:port/dbname'

then it will open a connection with those parameters in the TablePlus GUI. It can handle several database types (postgresql, mysql, mssql, redshift, redis, mongo, etc).
I'd assume that 1Password could invoke something like that behind the scenes?

Right now I have a script that uses the 1Password CLI to help me do this, but it's hard to roll something like that out to the whole company and a lot less convenient than having it available in the 1Password GUI.
