Feature Request: Transition Password / Temporary Password

Hi all,

When re-setting a password on a website, the usual process is:

  • Enter Old Password
  • Enter New Password x 2

When doing this using an auto-generated password via the password input box, a 1Password pop-up usually opens, prompting the user to save the new password.

Clicking save on this pop-up overwrites the old password in 1Password before it has actually been updated on the website itself. In some cases, a website may reject the auto-generated password, and the user is then left with a password in 1Password that wasn't updated on the site. The user then needs to go through some sort of password reset process in order to get back into their old account.

Would it be possible to make this process a bit smoother by shifting the old password to a temporary area so it is retrievable if this issue occurs?
