Not a power user with 1 password, but love having it do all that it does.
Just upgraded to 4 on the iPad, but only have the desktop version of 2 ( which I see is rather ancient)
Do I need to upgrade the program on my MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.5 to make sure they sync and both have the same info.
Thanks.

I just read about using Dropbox to sync. Is this the way I can go?

Ideally, you would upgrade 1Password for Mac to the current version since 1Password 2 was released long before Dropbox syncing was supported. There is a way to make it work, but it we can't really support it since it is a bit of a "hack".

One thing to keep in mind is that if you upgrade to 1Password 3 for Mac right now you will get 1Password 4 for Mac as a FREE update. Not a bad time to upgrade. We even have a 50% OFF sale going until Sunday night if that persuades you. :)

Otherwise, you would need to use the unsupported hack to make it work.

I hope that helps. Please let me know.
