I'm glad things are working well. Please keep us posted if you have any further trouble. In the future, I would not recommend force quitting the app but rather toggling Dropbox syncing off and then back on.

I had the hang again this morning. I did the toggle, Dropbox asked if OK, and syncing resumed and completed.

Could you email us your diagnostics so we can better assist you? Select Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Email Diagnostics in 1Password for iOS.
