Whenever I try to autofill in any app (except for the Safari extension), I get a screen like this telling me to open the app to add logins, with a close button overlapping this text.

1Password 8.9.0
iPhone 13
iOS 16.0 beta 5

  • Hello @nyuszika7h

It appears we need to tweak this screen for sure! Once I signin to an account in 1Password it should go away are you signed in on 1Password 8?

You may be still using 1Password 7 to fill from the browser which is why that is successful. Did you mind sharing your browser settings:

In Safari go to the Puzzle Icon, and then click on "Manage Extensions"

    Cheers,

    Ricky

Nope, I deleted 1Password 7 already. But it seems like the issue resolved itself in meantime.

  • This is the initial state of the AutoFill extension before 1Password has had a chance to populate entries in the device AutoFill database. The fix is to make sure the AutoFill is enabled in both places: 1Password Settings and iOS Settings > Passwords. Then, with both settings enabled, unlock 1Password. The AutoFill database will populate automatically during unlock.
