Can't log into vault after downgrading from 1PW8 to 1PW7

After installing 1PW7 over top of an existing 1PW8 install I am unable to log into my vault. Upon the first launch of the newly installed 1PW7 it immediately asks for my password but rejects the correct password every time. I have deleted and re-installed 1PW7 multiple times, including deleting every 1PW related folder and file in /Library/Application Support (at least all of them that I was able to find.

I just want to do a completely fresh install so I can go back to using version 7.

    If you're okay with completely resetting 1Password 7, choose Help > Troubleshooting > Reset All 1Password Data.
