Won't unlock from the browser

In both Brave and Chrome, when 1Password 8.8.0 is locked, I click the app in the browser extension bar and try to click "Open 1Password" I get no response. I need to open the full app from the Windows start menu, and enter the password there in order to unlock it and use it in the browser. I removed the browser extension and reinstalled, same result.
It works fine on my other Windows 10-based PC.

Any ideas?

    Hi Joy,
    I just got it working, but I did so by uninstalling the browser extension 2x and reinstalling (not sure why it took re-installs). Either way, it's all good now.

    Hey @jardlr877! It sounds like the extension is having a hard time communicating with the 1Password app in order to unlock in the browser. To fix that, please try the following:

    1. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    2. Under General, disable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    3. Fully quit 1Password app and browser.
    4. Restart the 1Password app and then open browser.
    5. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and choose Settings.
    6. Under General, re-enable "Integrate with 1Password app".
    7. Test things out with the extension.

    Let us know how that goes.
