Multiple logins required most days
Usually I have to login to 1P the first thing each day. But now it takes multiple logins. Here is what happened today:
- Logged in using the extension in Safari. It logged in using the "small" dialog box from V7.
- Minutes later, it made me login again. This time the "large" dialog box from V8.
- Next browser again, it made me login again with the "small" dialog box from V7.
Most days when trying to login using the extension in the browser icon I get this sequence:
- Small box appears with "unlocking"/"loading".
- Large dialog box from V8 appears, and I log in.
- After logged in, at least half of the time, the small box remains on the screen with "loading".
After first upgrading to V8 when this pattern occurs, I thought 1P was locked up, and I could not login to the website. Naturally this was very frustrating! I later discovered that the small dialog box with "loading" could be just ignored, and the web page could be accessed and the login function was successful. Either the small dialog box would go away on its own, or it could just be closed. From a coding standpoint, it appears simply that the function to close that "loading" dialog box was failing most of the time in a few different ways.
I am giving this detail in the hope that it helps you to diagnose the issue; I have refrained for a while from giving my input with the assumption that you have to know about this, as it must be very common, at least with Safari.

Only 1P V8 is installed on my main machine.
