http basic authentication & Edge - Password is not updated

in Browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, etc.)

When I use Edge (Windows) to access a site using Basic Authentication and the password has expired I enter the new password but Edge does not save it nor is 1Password available except as a standalone app to fill the prompts.
