The option to export the 1password 7 vault is greyed out now. How can the data be backed uu?
The export option used to work in 1password 7 so a local backup could be maintained on a local device. How can I do an export now?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble exporting your items. Is it possible that you have "All Vaults" selected? It’s not possible to export from “All Vaults”, can you switch to a specific vault and then try the export again?
In general, I don't recommend exporting your items since that will remove them from the secure and encrypted environment of 1Password. Any exported copy of your passwords will be in plain text and so will be readable by anyone who views it. If you're using a 1Password account then all of your data is already backed up to 1Password.com and you can roll back any deletions or mistaken edits by using this guide: View and restore previous versions of items
