iPad 7th generation will not accept my typed password.

My macOS Monterey accepts my typed password for 1password but my iPad 7th generation software version 15.6.1 will not accept my typed password. Caps lock is not on so I am guessing it is something to do with the keyboard which pops up to allow me to type in the password?
The additional information below is what I have looked up on my macOS as I am unable to log into my 1password on my iPad so unable to look up information on version and extensions etc for 1password.
