I've been using 1Password for over 10 years but with the recent bugs and dysfunctions in V8 I vaguely considered LastPass. But after the recent breach there's no way I would use it.

    Thanks for bringing this up. As the situation with LastPass is still ongoing, it would be inappropriate for me to comment on them, but I'd be happy to dig into the feedback you have with 1Password itself.

    I've been using 1password for over 12 years and version 8 is broken and very frustrating. I have to lock and unlock safari extension several times a day as a workaround to get it to work. it's a shocking release that feels more like a startup rather than a mature operation and makes me fear who bought 1password. the only comparison is when Microsoft bought Skype and anything else MS touches turns to stool. seems like some big money bough 1password and decided to turn it into compost — a home for worms and bugs.
