Password Generator not working properly
I have been a user for several years. Changing password characteristics used to be a breeze. Now it does not work. When I click in Chrome extension, and bring up Password Generator, the options to adjust length, etc are NOT seen. Also I can find no way to make the same adjustment in the desktop app or the system tray app. I believe I have all the latest software. I searched for hours for a solution to this. Can someone help me?

Hey @break80, thanks for reaching out. You should certainly be able to adjust the parameters on the fly with the Password Generator in your browser. Here are the steps to do so:
- Click on the 1Password extension icon in your browser.
- Select Settings > Password Generator
- Change the Type from Smart Password to Random Password.
- Adjust the password parameters to suit your needs.
The password generator in 1Password 8 is only available through editing or creating an item. It will appear once the password field is selected > Create a New Password. We currently have an internal request opened to add the password generator to the system tray and Quick Access as it is in 1Password 7. I'll be sure to add your voice to show our developers that there is interest in this feature.

One more question. Can I default to Random Password being checked instead of Smart Password?
