Cannot get it to autofill for the Vanguard App
Hi,
I have 1Password on my iPhone 13 Pro with ios 15.6.1. This issue occurred on both 1Password 7 and 1Password 8, and on all versions of the Vanguard app I’ve tried (I have had the app for a year).
Current (problematic) behavior: When I open the Vanguard app, it is able to recognize the password field and open up the 1password autofill. I can use Face ID to log in. However, 1password somehow cannot recognize my Vanguard entry as the default entry. I always have to browse and find the Vanguard entry, and then it autofills for the app.
I even tried adding a few more variants to the “website” section; I still can’t get it to recognize / tie it to the app:
Expected (desired) behavior: With most other apps, when the 1password autofill shows up, I just do FaceID, and it automatically fills the password field with the entry for the app.
Please look into this. Is there an easy url we can add to the entry to enable the app? Or can look into fixing 1password to recognize the Vanguard app? Thank you!

it looks like Vanguard hasn't implemented Associated Domains support so there isn't going to be any way to have it automatically show the right entry. They would need to update their app as well as deploying an appropriate .well-known/apple-app-site-associations file in order for Apple's AutoFill machinery to be able to give 1Password the context about the application you're filling in. Without that 1Password doesn't know anything about the fill context.
