1Password 8 URL scheme
Hi there,
Is there documentation regarding the URL scheme for 1Password 8? We use the URL scheme extensively to view items from a URL throughout our business and we noticed it stopped functioning with 1Password version 8.
Is there documentation regarding the URL scheme for version 8?

1Password 8 still appears to be registered as handler for
onepassword://, am I right? The 1Password desktop app opens, but doesn't go to the specified item. I hope it would not be a huge problem to teach the app to go to the right item again.We use
onepassword://URLs to link between our documentation (such as customer data) and 1password items belonging to that documentation (such as a password of one particular customer), without the need to open a browser prompt.See also this thread (and several other tweets and threads that all roughly give a hint, but never anything that seems official).
I think it would be good to either dump the URL scheme altogether, or properly document and support it. But this half-way thing is difficult.

Great question. On an item, if you click the three dot menu, then choose Copy Private Link, that link will work in 1Password 8. It will open using my.1Password.com, and then prompt you to open the 1Password app. Let me know how you get on with that!
