Unlocking 1Password on a Chromebook

I'm considering purchasing a Chromebook and am wondering how I would interact with 1Password on it.

I will likely purchase a Chromebook with a fingerprint reader but I see from another thread that biometric unlock of 1Password is not possible on Chromebooks.

Is it possible to unlock 1Password on Chromebook using the Chromebook login PIN like it is on Windows machines (use of Windows login PIN to unlock 1Password)?

Ideally, I'd like to avoid having to type my 1Password master password, particularly when I'm in a public space.

Hey @omzaz! The only way to use 1Password on a Chromebook is through the extension which can be installed in your browser. There is not a 1Password app for ChromeOS. Because using fingerprint ID with 1Password requires an app, I'm afraid that the extension will only unlock if you enter your Account Password. I'm sorry that I do not have better news.
