    The way I have found is to click the three dots top left and then click Check for Updates. It will show your version number. Every other piece of software I have you click Help, About but this doesn't work with 1P8.

    An alternative method for macOS is to select the file in Finder inside the Applications folder and press the spacebar. You'll get a pop up with those details. Press again to dismiss. Works for all apps or should.
