Cannot login to 1Password 8 on android tablet

I can login to my 1Password 7 on my tablet. But when I try to login to 1Password 8 on the same tablet, after entering the password it requires 2FA, which I previously fulfilled with a verification code from my old phone. But I now have a new android phone and do not have access to the verification code by that method.
