how can I share a password without the other having the ability to see the password?

Suppose I have a colleague who needs access to a web portal for which only I have personal credentials. So I need to share my credentials with him, but I don't want him to be able to see my password. how can I share this password without him having the ability to see the password?

While it's not possible to completely prevent another user seeing the password, I wanted to point you to some additional details about the security of sharing items using a unique link and some important details to protect yourself when sharing items. For example, changing the password to make sure the recipient doesn’t have an item’s details after you stop sharing. Your new changes won’t be shared unless you choose to share the item again.
