password history not available 1password8

  1. Needed to change a password
  2. Generated a new password
  3. Needed original password to complete process
  4. Password history no longer available in IOS
  5. Had to log on to web site version to get it

Had to reset password on this site. 1Password8 would not fill in the password.

Getting asked to enter password even though I have touchid enabled

For the first time in at least a decade I am open to finding a new password manager.

    Hi @Pathologist_PrMgt

    You can find the previous passwords for an item by tapping and holding on the Password field, then choosing "View password history", like this:

    As far as the Touch ID issue goes, it would be helpful for us to see what 1Password is doing, so I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your iOS device:

    Sending Diagnostics Reports (iOS)

    Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support+forum@1password.com.

    Thank you, I have not yet developed the habit of long pressing just to see what's there. I still anticipate there will be ... to indicate additional functionality.
