1Password 8 randomly locking without watch unlock support

Since updating to 1Password 8 on an intel Mac with MacOS 12.6, and both Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch Ultra running Watch OS 9, and iPhone 14 Pro Max with iOS 16.02 I am consistently coming back to 1Password and finding it is locked and does not give me the option of using my Apple Watch to unlock.

I have it set to require password every 2 weeks, and only autolock when sleep/screensaver, or 30 minutes elapses.

If the computer actually goes to screensaver/lock or sleep when I wake it up it USUALLY gives me the Apple Watch option.

But I am frequently coming to my computer where 1Password 8 is locked for no disernable reason and it does NOT give me the Apple Watch option.

    Hi @joshjack,

    Sorry to hear 1Password's auto-lock and Apple Watch unlock aren't behaving as expected. Could I confirm that Apple Watch unlock is working for your device itself?

    I'd recommend double checking if you have a keyboard shortcut set for locking 1Password that might be being triggered by mistake, you can view this in your preferences:

    Does changing the Lock after the computer is idle for time give you different results?

    Yes sir, Apple Watch unlock is working for my Mac just fine. That is one of the times I’m noticing that 1Password often fails. I will walk up to my Mac and it unlocks with Apple Watch but then 1Password doesn’t even give me the option of Watch unlock.

    Yes I am 100% sure the keyboard combination is not getting hit by mistake.
