Can I use 1Password 7 and 1Password 8 side by side on macOS?

For a number of reasons I have not yet migrated from 1Password 7 to 1Password 8. As a half step can I run both side-by-side?

1Password Version: 7.9.6
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: macOS 12.6

    Good question! Although you can theoretically run 1Password 7 and 1Password 8 at the same time I don't recommend it since it can cause issues with things like filling in the browser. You can always update to 1Password 8, give it a try, and then go back to 1Password 7 in the future if you wish. Updating to 1Password 8 is not a one-way door.
