Hello, I had previously upgraded to the 1password 8 beta for windows but noticed that my settings would revert after every update.
Followed the steps here https://support.1password.com/uninstall-1password/ and reinstalled 1Password with the production build and disabled auto-updates. Still reverts to beta with settings reverted and auto-update enabled.

Is there not a way to stick with production if you've ever had Beta in the past? Really kills the experience.

  • Hello @jonskyywalker,

Thanks for your message and sorry for the troubles you've encountered with reverting to the Production build of 1Password 8. If you'd like to return to this build immediately, you can following the steps below:
    1. Open the 1Password 8 Settings (Ctrl + Comma) > Advanced and change the Release channel to Production.
    2. Follow the instructions here to uninstall 1Password.
    3. From Windows search, paste the following into the search field, and press Enter:
    %LOCALAPPDATA%\1Password
    4. In the Explorer window that appears, right-click 1password.sqlite, click rename, and change the filename to 1password-old.sqlite.
    5. Reboot your PC.

At this stage you are ready to reinstall the 1Password 8 Production version, which you can download from our direct link here:
