1Password is rejecting my password when opening app. I have not changed it. Please help.

The 1Password app is asking for me to sign in as it normally does every once in a while. When signing in, the password is rejected. I have not changed the password, and need help.

OS Version: Ventura 13.0 Beta

    Hi @pbe219

    There are a few checks to make here to be able to help you further:

    • can you sign into 1Password.com with the same account password?
    • what happens if you click the šŸ‘ļø reveal password button in the account password field? You'll need to enter at least one character for that button to appear.
    • if you enter your account password into a text file and then copy and paste it into 1Password, does it work?
    • do you have any accented or special characters in your account password? (Don't tell me what they are if so!)

    Your account password should only include characters from this set:

    ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
    abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
    0123456789
    ! " # $ % & ' ( ) * + , - . / \ : ; ? @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
    a space, entered by pressing the Space bar

    If you have any other characters in your account password, you should change it to only include those from the ASCII set above: How to change your 1Password account password.
