on Mac, password generator repeatedly rejected by site??

when password is suggested by 1Password i chose it but sites reject it. I cannot ways to adjust password on Mac app, update, 8? thanks

You can adjust the recipe for the password generator in both the main 1Password app and in 1Password in the browser.

• Use the password generator to change and strengthen your passwords
• Get started with 1Password in your browser — Create a custom password
