1P8 for Apple Watch oversized font issue ?

Hi, I have downloaded the new just released 1P8 for Apple Watch (mine is Ultra)
the notes are appearing in HUGE fonts ...about 8 characters per line.
I have disabled "Format Using Markdown" in my iPhone. Is this an issue ?
I would like to have smaller fonts on my Apple Watch.
In the mean time I still use 1P7 to read my data with smaller fonts on the Apple Watch.

    My old eyes like the new size, but I can sure see why someone else might want smaller. Heck, I'm not sure I wouldn't want it just a few points lower. I'll get a feature request filed for you, err, the both of us.

    8 characters per line is perfect for you ?
    Not for most of us.

    Well, I only have lock codes in my notes in which the large sizing is a plus. I am seeing an adaptive sizing for larger notes. Do you not see that?

    Edit: Mine are formatted in Markdown too. Have you tapped into the field by chance? Is that what you were talking about?

    As I said Markdown format is switched to OFF
    Won’t do either way. I need advice to get smaller fonts.
