2fa removed during password update

I updated the password for a login the other day and didn't notice until today that this had resulted in the removal of 2fa for that login. I was able to restore the 2fa from a previous version, but this is a pretty bad side-effect that should not be happening.

    Hello @Araxia! 👋

    I'm sorry to hear that your 2FA one-time password disappeared after updating your password in a Login item. How did you update the password? Using 1Password in the browser, the 1Password for Mac app, or 1Password.com? Are you able to reproduce the issue again? If you can then can you send me a list of steps that I can follow to try to reproduce the same behaviour on my end?
