1 password 8 mac problems

If there was just one problem, this would be easy, but since I upgraded to V 8, I have problems on about 40% of sites. Creating a new login, it gathers the info, but when I press "Save" the window stays up blocking me. When I try changing pwds, it does not automatically do it. Fill ins work 20% of the time. On Mac, everything takes multiple clicks just to log in. When changing pwd, it does not suggest one, and I can never find the option for it, so have to go to some website for a new random pwd. The installation of 8 left 7 on my system.....same on my iphone. It seems to be getting worse.
