Which 1Password Versions for M1 Mac?

I'm using 1Password 8.9.4 on my Mac Studio, which has M1 Apple silicon. I see in the Mac App Store that there is 1Password 7 optimized for Apple silicon. 8.9.4 is working fine for me, but now I'm confused about which version I should be using for my M1 Mac Studio.

Advice? Thanks.

    1Password 8 is built for Apple Silicon and it's the version to use moving forward. When you run the 1Password 8 installer from our website it will automatically detect that you're using a M1 Apple Silicon Mac and install the right build for your device.
