How can I stop secure input preventing TypeIt4Me app from expanding abbreviations?
I've received a notification on my iMac (running the new OS Ventura) that reads: Safari has enabled Secure Input. This prevents TypeIt4Me from expanding abbreviations. How can I prevent this from occurring? So far it appears to be the only app affected.
Thanks for your time and attention.

Hey there @SAP
I noticed you said, "Safari has enabled Secure Input." in your post. Did you mean 1Password? If so, you can right-click the 1Password icon in the menu bar and click Quit. This will completely quit 1Password and will release Secure Input. You can then open 1Password again and it'll work normally.
Secure Input might get "stuck on" if you're editing a Password field (or another concealed field) and then switch apps to something else. Make sure you Save or Cancel any changes, or move the cursor to a non-concealed field to help avoid this.
Let me know how that goes and if you need any more help, we'll be here. :)

Eureka! I was trying to get my sister's new/oldish computer up and running over the last few days, and problems had me in and out of 1Password multiple times trying to get old passwords working or changed or deleted and new ones added. I finally sorted all that out this morning, and the 'Safari has enabled Secure Input' (yes, that is how the notification read as it appears the Safari extension was affected) is gone, and TypeIt4Me is working again in the browser again. Thank you so much for your insights and rapid response; I'm very grateful for your help. SAP
