1Password 8 is lagging and crashing brave

The 1Password extension is very regularly making brave pause and halt. It can take very long times to respond/unlock/autofill. It particularly gets touchy when you go to save a login. I've had to just walk away from the computer for minutes at a time waiting for it to resolve. At one point it was also intermittently causing lockups on changing/closing tabs.

Not sure what or how to provide debug logs to help troubleshoot this.

1Password Version: 8.9.4
Extension Version: 2.4.1
OS Version: macos 12.6
Browser:_ Brave 1.45.113
