Removing 1Password from my old Mac laptop
Hello, my old laptop is too old for a trade in to Apple so I am going to re-cycle it. I plan to do a clean install of the Mac OS to remove all my data. Should I remove 1Password first or will the clean install take care of it ?
I have 1Password installed on my go to desktop computer, an iMac. I plan to get an iPad & install 1Password on that.

Hello @jmbreitigan! 👋
Since you're planning to recycle your Mac, I suggest that you follow Apple's official instructions on how to completely erase your Mac: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support. This will remove everything from your Mac, including 1Password.
Once this is done you can also deauthorize the Mac from your 1Password account: If your device was lost or stolen, and it has your 1Password data on it
I hope that helps! 🙂
