Form field fill doesn't work on the first time after unlocking on Chrome + Mac

When hitting the down arrow or the 1Password icon in a form field, I get prompted to unlock the 1Password app via touch ID or password. After unlocking the app via either of those methods, I get prompted with a list of saved passwords underneath the form
field. If I select a password, the form fields don't get filled at all. If I hit the down arrow again, I get prompted with the same list of saved passwords and then selecting one of these fills the form fields correctly.

This happens every time the 1Password app needs to be unlocked and it doesn't matter if you select the saved password via the keyboard or via the mouse. I have restarted the computer but it is still happening.
