1password not saving newly changed password?

I just went to a major website to change my password, followed all the prompts, thought I'd saved the password into my app on my phone, and got a confirmation that the password had changed. Then, when I went back to my 1password app to check, it still showed the old password. That's kind of scary, since those passwords aren't exactly memorable. What happened?
