New entries do not show until 1Password Quits
I add a new login entry by clicking on the 1Password browser icon and saying save the entry. The latest login entry does not show until I quit 1P from the menu bar. This has happened repeatedly. If I search 1P the item is not there but does autofill.

Sorry to hear new entries aren't appearing in the app as expected, odd behaviour indeed. To confirm, items are being saved via the in line menu that looks like this?
Does the new item not appear in both the main 1Password 8 desktop app and the browser extension? The next time you notice this, I'd like to ask you to check if it appears on 1Password.com as well.
Let me know what you find and we'll determine our next steps from there. 🙂

Sorry I was away for the holiday and vacation and forgot about this. It happened three more times on three different sites. It is the typical behavior and only shows up once I quit my password. I have tried it in the desktop app and the extension with the same behavior. I have not checked 1Passowrd.com yet.

Could I confirm exactly how these items are being created? For example, are you clicking the "+ New Item" button in the 1Password browser extension:
With app integration turned on, this would send you to the 1Password desktop app. Or are you using the inline menu button:
It would also help to know if these items then appear on 1Password.com in your browser. Let me know what you find and we'll go from there. 🙂

I am on a website logging in for the first time and 1Password pops up as I’m typing in a username and password and prompts me to save the new entry. It saves the entry and then when I go to 1Password the entry is not there I need to completely quit 1Password from the macOS menu bar relaunch one password and then the entry appears I have replicated this behavior at least four times on four different websites. I will attempt to replicate this behavior again and tested further when I have some time over the next few days. I will also check 1Password.com after I create the entry.

I just ran into the problem again. I was updating my PayPal password and it updated the password but the old password was still showing in the app. I checked 1Password.com and it was updated there. I had two quit 1Password completely from the menu bar for it to take effect again.

I think at this point it would be useful if we could take a closer look at some logs and what may be going wrong.
