Restting V8

It these a way of resetting V8 so I can pull in all my passwords, logins etc, etc from iCloud or do I just delete the app and reinstall.

    1Password 8 doesn't use iCloud to store your items. Can you tell me a little more about what you're trying to do? Are you trying to import items from iCloud Keychain into your 1Password account? Or were you using an older standalone vault synced via iCloud with an older version of 1Password?

    I am aware that iPassword doesn't use iCloud anymore. Just want to start fresh by downloading the file that my Version 7 on another MBP backed up to iCloud over the past few years.

    Thank you for clarifying. How best to start over and migrate your old iCloud-synced standalone vault will depend on how you're using 1Password on your devices. I recommend sending an email to support+forum@1Password.com so that our support team can take a look and give you step-by-step instructions. After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message and make sure it's gotten to the right place. 🙂

    I should have added that I want to delete the vaults that I have in the latest Version in 8 before doing the previous statement.

    How about just deleting the app altogether and redownload it and then log back in after hopefully it pulls the vault off iCloud instead of wasting your techie's time

    oh if Version 8 doesn't back up to iCloud and the only back up copy that the app does back up to is on your least space on servers, then hopefully you have a backup if your servers can not be reached
