To my knowledge, Samsung Pass data exports as a proprietary encrypted .spass file type which cannot be imported by 1Password. While it's not an elegant solution, credentials from Samsung Pass can be manually copied and pasted in to new 1Password items.
I'm sorry I don't have a better option for you and your daughter. Perhaps someone else on the forum has come across a more elegant solution. If there's anything else I can help with, just let me know!

Happy to help @slamotte. I've been digging around online and on my S22 trying to find another option but it looks like manual might be the way to go.
